If you love a sappy love story...

See Sunday at Tiffany's. Yes, it's a JamesPattersonBestSellerTurnedLifetimeMovie, but I'm tellin ya. It's a good one. I may have even shed a tear or two. (But nothing compared to the last two movies I watched: the latest Harry Potter movie, whatever it's called, and My Dog Skip. Cried like a baby in both. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking...and it was when that cute little elf guy died, DUH).

So back to Sunday at Tiffany's: classic story of sweet girl gets engaged to the safe-but-douche bag guy, tries to convince herself she's happy and it's the "right thing," goes on making wedding plans UNTIL...dun dun dunnnn....

You'll just have to see it. But for now, suffice it to say that a new phrase among the girls who watched it is that we're looking for "our Michael." Good luck with that one, boys...

Ah, the impossibly high standards that Hollywood and Disney set for us idealistic girls...who are idealistic because of them, or they just capitalize on our propensity to idealize? Hmm.
